If you're not getting any signal from your CL101, please check the following:
-
Is the microphone properly connected to your audio interface's mic input with an XLR cable?
-
Have you enabled 48V phantom power on your audio interface, and is the preamp gain turned up?
If you've checked these basic settings and the issue remains, it may indicate a microphone malfunction. This is especially likely if you notice the microphone's casing is electrified or if touching it causes a buzzing or noise to be recorded. In this case, lightly twisting the microphone grille will not resolve the issue.
If you suspect the microphone itself is faulty, please contact our technical support team for assistance.
